MySpace-Sold-OutThe social network MySpace was sold once again. This time, the buyer is a digital media company Specific Media, which purchased the News Corp. site. As part of the deal, News Corp. will acquire a minority stake in specific environments. AllThingD report Specific Media pay 35 million dollars. MySpace is recognized as a leader who pioneered social media. The company has transformed the way audiences find, consume and interact with online content.

As part of the deal, MySpace will be reduced to half mast. In a memo sent to employees, CEO of MySpace, Mike Jones to make notes on the restructuring initiative, which also announced it would withdraw from the company after the transition period of two months. MySpace was bought by NewsCorp in 2005 with a value of 580 million U.S. dollars. According to Swisher, the share of News Corp., equity in media specific 5 % to 10%.
