Microsoft confirmed that Windows 8 will be used in an ARM processor architecture. This means that the mobile phone chipset may begin to sink in the computer industry, one of Qualcomm.
This is confirmed by Steve Mollenkopf, executive vice president and group president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, in Editors Day in San Diego, USA. “We have entered the Snapdragon chipset that runs in Windows 8 Computex exhibition in years, and are currently being intensively developed to a level even more,” he told several media outlets.
Windows 8 is probably different from the previous series. Windows promised this time could run on lower specification computers and is compatible with various types of hardware.
