Financial services digital transaction, Google Wallet, finally officially released. Nexus S 4G Google users in the United States that runs on Sprint’s network, the first time to enjoy this service.
Google Wallet use Near Field Communication (NFC) technology is incorporated into mobile phones. Previously, Google Wallet has been tested extensively before it is now finally released to the public.
As quoted in ComputerWorld, Tuesday (09/20/2011), the Google Wallet is available for holders of Citi MasterCard credit card. Then, the user will be visited Visa, American Express and Discover. To use, users of the Nexus S in the country long enough to find the Wallet application of Uncle Sam, and then download it. As a means of payment, users simply place the phone in existing payment terminals in various parts of transactions, such as stores or supermarkets.
MasterCard has nearly 144 thousand terminals in the U.S. that allow transactions through Google Wallet. When used, the payment is automatically charged to your credit card. “This is just the beginning and although we are interested in this first step, we hope to bring Google portfolio more devices in the future,” said Osama Bedier, Vice President of Payments Google.
It is not yet clear when the Google Wallet, we visited the areas outside the U.S.. In the UK, Google advises portfolio will be released in the near future anyway.
