Sales of NetBook Continues to Decrease
The release of netbooks to the market has shrunk by 34 percent from last year and now represent, and l only five percent of PC sales worldwide.
Beancounters Canalys said that figure has dropped dramatically from 13 percent of the netbook market had two years ago. The company said the launch of netbooks was 34 percent lower during the first quarter of 2012 over the same period in 2011.
What is surprising is that a few years ago everyone predicted the death of these teams and yet are still here. Part of the reason is that they are still quite cheap. You can get one for less than U $ S 300. The interesting thing is that his death does not seem to have come from consumers who still want it because of its price and portability. Instead, they are the manufacturers who want them dead, because the more expensive are the teams get higher profit margins.
Names like Dell, Linux PC maker System76 and ZaReason have stopped selling netbooks. Other projects have been launched, but did not fare as expected in the market.
