However, the facts show that there is still a gap between expectations and reality of implementing virtualization and cloud computing.
Some 81 percent of companies think about the implementation of private storage as a service, but only 28 percent saw reality as expected. 100 percent of companies surveyed expect to reduce the complexity, but only 53 percent who felt the application of a private storage as a service to meet expectations. Storage virtualization also face challenges. The biggest difference here is agility, scalability and ability to follow the trend of technological development. In scability matter, only 45 percent of the 100 percent enterprise had expected to find that the proper implementation of storage virtualization a reality.
