Dolby Laboratories agreed not to pursue patent infringement claims in court against Research In Motion (RIM), after the two sides agreed to license the patent. Therefore, RIM will pay some money to patent Dolby used in devices such as BlackBerry smartphones RIM BlackBerry Playbook facts and tablet.
Reported by Reuters, the agreement is the result of a patent violation lawsuit against RIM conducted by Dolby and presented to the court on June 15, 2011, the last.
